Quraan Kareem

Qur'aan Kareem

Nowadays people use the Qur'aan for competitions, entertainment; actually the recitation of the Qur'aan Kareem is to soften the heart. Moulana advises us to use itr before reading Qur'aan.
Read with feeling and then it will have an effect on you; whether you have an undertanding or not.

When reciting the Qur'aan Shareef one should make the following intentions:
* Ibaadah- Qur'aan is one of the greatest forms of Ibaadah
* Earning thawaab for the Aakhira
* For Hidaaya (guidance)
* Gaining closeness to Allah Ta'ala- this is the greatest thikr
* If one is a Haafidh, then keeping dhor- keeping hifdh in order

How ever many niyyats you made thats the amount of thawaab you'll get.

Problems..

Problems..

Moulana explains: When you throw a stone at a low animal such as a dog, it even knows that he should fight with you, the thrower of the stone, not with the stone. So, when problems come, we should realise that it is from Allah Ta'ala just as the dog was intelligent enough to realise who is behind the stone.

Pride

Pride

Hard-heartedness destroys oneself, just as aloe spoils honey.
An example is if you are doing the hadeeth on the signs of a Munafiq, then your mind drifts to other people in whom you think these signs are present, who are guilty of it. No! Think of yourself first, that is important. Know that you first have all the diseases, worry about your own self.

People with pride and people with humility have different qualities which are noticeable: they way they sit, the way they walk, the way they dress etc. Don't have arrogance and pride in you!

Moulana mentions a sign of pride again for example pulling up the face when there's a bad smell etc.
A person who has one atom of pride in him will not enter Jannah

Durood Shareef

Durood Shareef

It takes a few seconds to recite one durood and the result is that:
Allah Ta'ala sends 10 duroods upon you
Allah Ta'ala and the angels send 10 salaams upon you
10 thawaabs (rewards) are written
10 sins are forgiven
Your status in the hereafter is raised 10 stages
You receive the duaas of 10 angels

Moulana urges us to read alot of Durood Shareef. The minimum amount we should be reciting is 10 a day, we should have this amount for about 40 days, then slowly increase it, to 25 then 50 then 100. An average Muslim should be sending 100 duroods on Nabi SallAllahu alayHi wa sallam, daily.
If it was not for Rasoolullah sallAllahu alyHi wa sallam we would not have been in existence. Nabi sallAllahu alayHi wa sallam is a Rahma for the world. We should praise Rasoolullah sallAllahu alayHi wa sallam and thank Him by sending durood.
